Rather than do a recap, let’s talk about PLAYOFFS. This is the last week of the fantasy regular season and there are some interesting matchups this week. Let’s dive in.

CURRENTLY IN BUT NOT SAFE

OUTSIDE LOOKING IN

One of Jeff, Justin, or Jim will not make the playoffs. Jim’s point total is so low that it doesn’t matter so the only way for him to get in would be for him to win and either Jeff or Justin to lose.

SCENARIOS
1. Jim loses. Jim doesn’t make it.
2. All 3 win. Jim doesn’t make it.
3. Jim wins, Jeff loses, Justin wins. Jeff doesn’t make it
4. Jim wins, Jeff wins, Justin loses. Justin doesn’t make it.
5. Jim wins, Jeff loses, Justin loses. Jeff or Justin don’t make it depending on points. Justin needs to score 6.43 more than Jeff to make it.

It would be pretty crazy if Jim didn’t make it at 8-5. That would be like the Pats with Cassel not making it at 11-5.

BYES
Dave and I (#1 and #2) play each other so presumably the winner gets a bye and the loser does not. The other bye is completely up for grabs. Dad plays Dags and Rambo plays Jim. If neither win, the loser of Dave vs Me could still get a bye. If both win, then it is a dogfight on points (10pts separate Dad and Rambo right now). If Dad wins and Rambo loses (or vice versa) the winner snags a bye. Technically Jeff and Justin are even live for a bye if they win their matches and both Dad and Rambo lose. That would put everyone besides the winner of Dave vs Me at 8-5 and it would come down to points from there.
